Sukagawa wet rice farmers were the first to receive group JGAP certification.
There are currently four farms in the group, most of which are run by young farmers in their 30s and 40s.
Thanks to JGAP's practical advice and the farming manual, etc., put together under their leadership, we produce the best-tasting rice in the entire prefecture.
We plan to develop further sales routes as other farmers join and grow under contract.
