Description
We grow rice and Nango tomatoes in the town of Tadami in Minami-Aizu.
In 2017, we and some other rice farmers in Tadami set up the Tadami Rice Branding Council and we have since worked together on various projects, such as the sale of specially packaged select Koshihikari rice.
This farm was converted to a corporation in 2018. By implementing a program under JGAP, we have been able to review workplace risks and effect daily recordkeeping, which has helped to systematize farm operations. Having obtained certification for rice, we are now working to obtain JGAP group certification for our Nango tomato, and will implement our GAP manuals to practice better agriculture.
